Together with the community we identified problems with the current incentive system and key stakeholders around the permissionless rating product. We defined a concrete objective of the system to generate high-quality, accurate, timely reports.

Drawing from existing mechanism found across DeFi and DAO communities, we designed a system around the permissionless rating product to align stakeholder incentives on the defined objective.

A simple model of the system was build projecting the development of different metrics over time.  Given that the permissionless, rating product had at time of service few on-chain components, we suggested periodically reviewing empirical data produce by the implemented system and alter parameter and system mechanism as needed, offering cost-effective validation strategy.

We developed a step-wise action plan allowing for an easy implementation of the designed system. In addition, key metrics were identified that should be monitored to assess system health. Finally, different tools and community documentation were provided to communicate system changes.
